Michigan MDHHS Home Help Program Support
State-compliant, hands-on home care services provided through the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).
Understanding the MDHHS Home Help Program
The Michigan MDHHS Home Help Program provides financial assistance for approved in-home services when an individual is unable to perform certain daily tasks independently due to age, disability, or medical condition.
At KRSNA Home Care, we help families understand the program, complete required documentation, and receive services that align with MDHHS Time and Task guidelines.
Eligibility and service approval are determined by MDHHS following an official assessment.
An individual may qualify if they:
- Are a Michigan resident
- Have a documented physical, cognitive, or medical limitation
- Require hands-on assistance with at least one Activity of Daily Living (ADL)
- Meet MDHHS financial eligibility requirements
- Complete the required application and assessment
