Our Services

Personal Care for Independent Living

At KRSNA Home Care, we provide hands-on personal care services that help individuals maintain independence, dignity, and safety in their own homes.

All services are aligned with the Michigan MDHHS Home Help Program “Time and Task” guidelines, making it easier for families to understand what is covered and for Adult Services Workers (ASWs) to approve care.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are essential hands-on self-care tasks required for daily health and safety.
To qualify for the MDHHS Home Help Program, a client must need assistance with at least one of the following:

Bathing & Personal Hygiene

We provide hands-on help with showers or tub baths to keep clients clean and safe. Caregivers also assist with daily oral hygiene and basic hair care while respecting comfort and privacy.

Dressing

We help clients choose appropriate clothing and provide hands-on assistance with putting on and fastening clothes to ensure comfort and safety throughout the day.

Grooming

Our caregivers help with personal grooming needs such as shaving, basic skin care, and simple hair styling. These services help clients maintain personal appearance and overall well-being.

Toileting

We offer assistance with getting on and off the toilet safely and provide support with personal cleanup. This service helps reduce the risk of falls while maintaining hygiene and dignity.

Mobility & Moving

We support safe movement throughout the home, helping clients walk or move from one area to another as needed. Our caregivers focus on preventing falls and promoting independence.

Transferring

We provide hands-on assistance with transfers, including moving between a bed, chair, or wheelchair. This ensures safe movement and reduces the risk of injury.

Eating

We offer physical assistance with feeding for individuals who are unable to eat independently. Our caregivers ensure meals are taken safely and comfortably while supporting proper nutrition.

Pregnancy Care

We provide supportive in-home care for expecting mothers, helping with daily comfort, light assistance, and guidance during pregnancy to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Neonatal Care

Our caregivers assist families with newborn care, offering support with feeding routines, basic infant care, and helping parents maintain a safe and nurturing home environment.

Traditional Hindu Meal Service

We prepare traditional vegetarian meals aligned with Hindu dietary practices. Meals are prepared with care to respect cultural traditions, nutritional needs, and personal preferences.

Traditional Hindu Food Catering

We offer traditional Hindu food catering for both medical and non-medical needs. Our meals follow vegetarian and cultural dietary guidelines suitable for families, events, and home care clients.

Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)

In addition to personal care, we provide essential household support services that help clients live safely and comfortably at home:

Meal Preparation

We plan and cook nutritious meals, clean up afterward, and consider traditional and vegetarian dietary needs to support daily health and well-being.

Medication Assistance

We provide medication reminders and assist with setting up or administering prescribed medications to ensure they are taken safely and on schedule.

Light Housekeeping

We assist with light housekeeping such as dusting and sweeping to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.

Laundry

We help with washing, drying, and folding clothing and linens to keep personal items clean, organized, and ready for daily use.

Essential Shopping & Errands

We assist with grocery shopping, medication pickups, and other essential errands needed to support daily living and independence.
